Labor is an unpredictable, beautiful and wild thing. And Elliot and Leah have quite the unpredictable, beautiful and wild story to tell about the grand entrance of their sweet girl. This momma fought well and hard for the safe and gentle delivery of her wee one. It was such an honor to slip into their delivery room over the course of three days and document these tender moments.

Leah and Elliot, well done on the work you all did this past weekend. Leah, your strength, and gentle determination was inspiring and stirred my heart. Your little babe was so throughly loved in the way you labored for her and with her. Elliot, your tender care for your wife and daughter pulled at my heart every time I stepped into the room. Your calm presence in Leah's storm was something to behold.

Matt and I are praying for sweet moments for you three, as you learn your girl and your confidence with her grows. Hoping that the strength and determination of your love and your tender care for each other abounds more and more in the coming days.
