Welcome to world sweet baby Kate. It was honor to meet you, so very fresh and new to this Earth. You are a beauty and a wonder to behold. 

It never ceases to amaze me, when I capture a new babe, how very present and whole she was, hours before while still snug in the womb. Present and whole and yet utterly unknown, until that first breath and that first cry and that first loving look. And yet, by the time I step into that sacred space, her parents know so many preferences, so many expressions, so many details. All treasures.
